Does This Drive Anyone Else Crazy?

My name is Brad Turnbloom. I am a Realtor in the Martinez area and specialize in the buying and selling of residential homes.

A great way to advertise a home is with a sign out in front of the house. It grabs the attention of people driving or walking by.  Even if someone is not actively looking for a house, they may see the sign and become very interested  if it is the right area and fit.  Also, they may have a family member or friend that is interested in buying. This is where the brochures come in.  The brochure is a great way to steer people into showing your house.  The purpose of the brochure is not to sell the house, but  to generate showings.  The house should sell itself  when people go inside if it is a good fit for them.   The brochure should have some enticing pictures, property details such as square footage, bedrooms, bathrooms, and price.

The Problem:    

When I drive by Martinez and Pleasant Hill homes for sale I always check out their signs and brochure boxes.   What I usually see in the brochure box is nothing!   They are usually empty.   This makes it very hard for me or anyone to get more information on the house.  How about square footage, price, pictures, or a way to get more information. Sometimes there is not even contact information on the sign!  Realtors are paid by sellers to market, and sell their clients’ homes. How hard is it to have enough brochures printed and stop by once or twice a week to check on it.

“The Turnbloom Way”

At Turnbloom & Associates, we take this very seriously. We make a point to regularly fill our brochure boxes and leave extras with the home owner so they can refill in between visits from us. Not to mention our brochures are some of the nicest quality in the industry.

We realize that brochures and signs are not the only way to sell your house.  Some agents say that brochures are obsolete and unnecessary but we feel this is just an excuse for laziness!   From our experience, when we put out the brochures, people take them.  This means that they are working!

Our marketing strategy is very broad utilizing different types of advertising to maximize the exposure of our listings.  From printed brochures, to online virtual reality 3d tours, we do what ever we can to sell houses for top dollar.

Make sure you hire a Realtor who will represent you and your property’s best interests!
